Boom: Blockchain Infrastructure and Venture Building
What Boom explored
Boom was a blockchain-infrastructure venture founded by Dipankar Sarkar. The work explored infrastructure that could make blockchain capabilities easier for applications and organisations to use across different networks.
Commercial evidence
Boom secured more than $2.5 million in investor commitments and commercial letters of intent. Those words matter: commitments and letters of intent are evidence of commercial interest, but they are not the same as completed fundraising, recognised revenue, production adoption, or contracted annual value.
What carried forward
The venture informed later work on signing policy, authority boundaries, cross-chain state, compiler semantics, and agent-operated market systems. Current public Cryptuon projects are reference implementations and research artefacts; they do not imply external audit, mainnet adoption, customer use, or financial returns.
